Installation Instructions – I-ZONE PRO
After finding a suitable location for the installation of the I-Zone pro.
Ensure there is a mains socket is available within the mounting area. The low voltage leads may be extended in length as long as care is taken and ensure the correct polarity of the leads. Carefully remove the 2 fixing screws on the lid of the device, do not at this stage open the lid.
The sensor is an integral part of the lid and is electrically connected to the back plate by wires. Therefore take care not to damage the wires or the sensor, carefully open the lid by folding it over to the left hand side.
There are four fixing holes in the back plate to enable the unit to be mounted via 4 fixing screws, recommended to be 4 x No6 x 30 mm long screws (min). Mark and drill the location area taking care not to damage the sensor or the electronic components inside the unit. Also ensure brick dust or other foreign bodies do not get deposited inside the device.
Protruding through the back of the box is 2 wires with connectors attached, these are to be connected to the power adapter provided.
The power adaptor is 240volt input into a normal electrical socket the output from the adaptor is 15volt dc stabilised. The leads to be connected to the I-Zone pro are polarised to ensure correct connection.
Once mounted and electrically connected the device will take approximately 4 minutes to stabilise, within this time the unit may false alarm occasionally, this is normal.
The I-Zone pro will, under normal circumstances detects a 25 mm flame at 6 metres within 1 second.
Environmental situation may reduce the range.
When the device is activated it will not detect again for a further 10 seconds after the message has been played.
