What is static electricity?

Static Electricity builds up as you walk and move about. Once you build a static charge level of 3000 volts your body receives a shock when you touch another object and your static level lowers dramatically. However, the process stats allover again as you continue to move about. Not only is the charge painful to you but it can also be destructive to the object you have just discharged into like a phone, computer or any electronic component.

To remove the pain and save your electronic equipment you can place our Anti-Static Touch Pads at strategic locations in your office or home (your desk, computer, fax, file cabinet). You should touch it often so that you have no pain, your electronic equipment has no damage, and then you are now at zero static.

• Shock absorbing 3 layer construction for sensitive electronic components - 3 Layer Construction:
  • Top Surface - Abrasive resistant dissipative solid vinyl
  • Inner Layer - Conductive non-carbon mesh providing reliable, consistent and rapid static charge grounding path
  • Bottom Layer - Dissipative foam bottom layer provides a safety absorption cushion for equipment susceptible to physical shock

Grounding Cord for Anti-Static Pad

• Constructed with a 1 mega ohm resister for safety
• 10 mm (3/8”) female snap connection for mat
• 10’ grounding cord with O ring connector for ground (eyelet has 5mm hole)
• Connect to dedicated ground or properly grounded electrical outlet
• Used for grounding tabletop anti-static mats where wrist straps will not be used
• Mat connection snaps included
